Thomsons bled the client for a while building a huge conspiracy theory that Mr. Watson stole the company. This case is interesting as it raises a number of ethical concerns about legal conduct — you always hear about people getting depressed by being pounded down by lawyers?

Mr. Noface is currently being investigated for tax evasion — and he’s screaming that he’s going to subpoena me to court because I wrote about him. His lawyers have my email address at the bottom right corner of the website so they can issue the subpoena order to me and they can also issue a cease and desist to tell me their client is not being investigated for tax evasion. So his silence speaks volumes.

He’s also the director of Pioneer Lakes (or former director) as Mr. Watson is buying the company — and watching him move and slither teaches me how these dogs play. By the way isn’t it interesting that a developer director sitting as the owner of a major property development of 649 lots refuses to even show his face on LinkedIn?

James Ashby is the Party Director of One Nation — on the telly they were saying One Nation is unusually evasive about the press — and Australian Financial Review has referred to James Ashby as unusually aggressive towards reporters — in my experience people who are needlessly aggressive have something to hide — and Sunlight.Quest is here to give you the exclusive on this naughty little campaign manager that pissed in the wrong pool.

Firstly a little history — James Ashby is gay and made a ruckus in Parliament after accusing Peter Slipper of sexual misconduct — a charge that was dropped by the police — along with the appeal that James Ashby launched. James Ashby got on my radar after he called Bodie Chalmers (featured in Episode 9 of Sunlight.Quest) — to fish for dirt on Mr. Watson. When you’re fishing for dirt make sure your own side of the house is clean because you’re not the only one that can fish.

So get this — Mike Botica knew this strawberry farmer — and James Ashby wanted his land. So what he did was he sent some strippers at this strawberry farmer and secretly took a photo — and then gave it to his wife to split them up — knowing that she would go to try to take half of his stuff and he would have a problem. Then he sent some Islander boys to stand over this strawberry farmer and make him sign his land over to James Ashby in some forced sale. Unfortunately for James Ashby cameras are everywhere — and I’m sure that’s one video that won’t be showing up on the One Nation Party’s YouTube Channel.

So there you go — you know I actually like Pauline Hanson’s bluntness — I don’t know why she keeps this weirdo around — she seems to be drawn to bad boys. She decided to have a sit down with Tommy Robinson who’s got a rep sheet longer than my hand — the guy who got Karl Stefanovic sacked after he wanted to “hear the other side”. Mr. Watson has nothing to hide — his face is fully visible. Mike Botica initiated a case in the Federal Court against Mr. Watson after the payment for his company was held up by AUSTRAC — because he’s under investigation for tax evasion — and in his panic started throwing mud with a case in the Federal Court initiated by his lawyer Thomson’s partner Scott Guthrie, who’s trying to make a name for himself and is getting outplayed and embarrassed.

The case alleges that Mr. Watson is trying to steal Pioneer Lakes Pty Ltd. They’ve been paid as of this writing. And this Mike Botica who seems so upset that his company is about to be stolen never reached out to me to ask me where his company is — even though I was in contact with this clown.

You’re going to hear a lot of accusations throughout this episode — both from Mike Botica and partners’ old lawyers McKay Solicitors, Ursula McKenzie the malicious accountant at Pioneer Lakes and also the sociopath Scott Guthrie lawyer from Thomson’s trying to make a name for himself — about how Mr. Watson lodged a fraudulent Form 484.

A Form 484 is a company transfer form — it’s signed by parties of a company authorising the transfer of a company to a new Director. Sunlight.Quest has the Form 484 in question that was signed by Mike Botica and partners — you can see and scroll it below — in a case like this (stealing the company and attempting to gain a company by deceit) — a document like this would be the smoking gun.

Page 18 — if you want to scroll to it — has what the essence of this case falls down to — a signature from Mike Botica — it’s a Resignation of Director letter to the Secretary. You can see it below scroll down to the link yourself — it also has signatures from the other Directors.

In legal parlance — in a case like this the Form 484 would be referred to as the ‘Smoking Gun’ — all Mr. Watson would need to do in Court when cross examining Mike Botica is slam the Form 484 on the table and say “Is that your signature?” — everything else, the delay tactic, the attempt to access unrelated criminal proceedings by Scott Guthrie to bleed his client are just delay tactics that achieve nothing except turn everyone against him and his firm’s legitimacy to be rewarded government contracts — companies like Thomsons are bound by a code of ethics and even more so when they receive taxpayer funds — it’s interesting that Scott Guthrie’s firm would receive taxpayer funds act like this and then people have mental breakdowns so the government can pay to fix people that Scott Guthrie destroys.

The ASIC extract below confirms that Adam Watson was appointed as Director and Secretary of Pioneer Lakes Pty Ltd on 3 July 2026. The previous directors — Michael Joe Botica, Stephen Brian Coleman, and John Leslie O’Toole — all ceased on the same date.

This is the official record. It was lodged correctly, ethically, and in full compliance with the Corporations Act. The allegations of a “fraudulent” Form 484 are contradicted by the very document that ASIC itself issued.

Just like John Ramsden on this page (Isaac’s dad) — whose office has gone into silence mode when I asked them to comment on this story (aka it’s true otherwise they’d get on the front foot and send a Cease and Desist).

This is probably the most difficult section I have to write on Sunlight.Quest. I try to be funny and entertaining so when confronting evil I don’t know how to write about it.

When Mr. Watson lived in Western Australia he was the victim of a rape. He’s warned me that mentioning the specific rapist (who is high profile) could get me in trouble because of a suppression order — but I can say that he witnessed this rapist rape and kill a number of women before he was raped, and the only reason he was saved was because a postman walked past and saw something suspicious and called the police.

Mr. Watson was a victim of a rape in Western Australia during his time around Hancock Prospecting and Lang Hancock. He survived being killed after a postman noticed something strange in the house he was held captive in by the couple — where the man raped and killed the women in front of him.

Now in the Bodie Chalmers chapter of Sunlight.Quest I have learnt the QLD Police attempted to weaponise this rape — where Mr. Watson was a victim — to discredit his character. Basically running the argument that because he was raped that’s why he became a rapist. Imagine being falsely charged with sexual assault and your own rape where you were a victim being brought up in court because the police has no evidence, to make you look like the town rapist.

And now Scott Guthrie from Thomson’s is running the same gambit.

Sunlight.Quest can confirm that Scott Guthrie from Thomson’s — a legal firm that is the de facto provider of legal services to the government — who was engaged by Mr. Noface (Mike Botica the tax evader) to start Federal Court proceedings against Mr. Watson at the Federal Court for a civil matter — attempted to access Mr. Watson’s rape case where Mr. Watson was the victim.

This is not just irrelevant — it’s illegal. There is a suppression order on this case and Rhys Whitby has been notified of this. But he’s not finished.

04 · Assault Conviction Appeal Access Sought

DPP fight activated

Seeing as Mr. Watson is running for the seat of Kingsford Smith it is the duty of Sunlight.Quest to reveal to you that he has an assault conviction. However he is appealing the conviction to the full bench of the Supreme Court and Sally Downing the DPP who has seen this case has made comment stating that Justice Beckett who handed down her decision acted maliciously and does not want to run this case.

Scott Guthrie has gone to attempt to access the detailed notes of the assault conviction and Mr. Watson has sought and successfully gained a suppression order to stop Scott Guthrie from being able to access the files (which by the way contain detailed notes of the rape Mr. Watson was a victim of — to try to paint him negatively because of it in below-the-belt lawfare).

So now Scott Guthrie wants to appeal the suppression order to the High Court in some kind of twisted obsession with Mr. Watson’s rape case and is making comments that he will then seek costs as some kind of bullying tactic. What the fuck does this assault conviction have to do with the civil proceedings he started for his client Mike Botica the tax evader?

Trying to bully Mr. Watson and rack up bills with pointless fights against the DPP for access to unrelated paperwork in civil proceedings. Everyone looking at this clown and raising their eyebrows.

But he has a problem.

Firstly the DPP is going to fight him on getting this suppression order lifted as they have a vested interest in the case being private. Sally Downing doesn’t like him and the government has unlimited resources to fight his attempt to lift the suppression order — so he has been outplayed. In fact Sunlight.Quest can confirm that the DPP has engaged Brett Walker QC to fight Thomson’s firm.

Thomson’s think they are above the law and that they can go to the High Court to fight suppression orders on a self-represented defendant’s assault conviction for a civil case they initiate about a contractual dispute. This is going to be one for the books.

But why is Scott Guthrie so confident in using these bullying tactics and seeking information on unrelated criminal matters in a civil trial to defame Mr. Watson? Sunlight.Quest can reveal that Scott Guthrie has a personal relationship with Justice Wheatley who is hearing these proceedings. But Scott Guthrie has a problem because his appeal to the High Court for trying to lift the suppression order will be overheard by none other than Jacqueline Gleason — who Mr. Watson has a personal relationship with — and she has shown concern about Justice Wheatley’s conduct and favouritism in this case.

This sociopath lawyer with an unhealthy obsession about Mr. Watson’s private life and trying to use his power as a Thomson’s associate really speaks to the culture inside Thomson’s of using government connections to get access to people’s personal lives for no other reason than unhealthy fixations.

Sunlight.Quest can reveal another disturbing element of this case that has to do with companies like Thomson’s — after getting government contracts — believing they can own the police to use as their own personal agitators and personal harassment service against their clients’ enemies.

After Mike Botica the tax evader engaged Thomson’s with his outlandish claim that Mr. Watson stole the Pioneer Lakes company (completely ridiculous and I won’t even bother addressing this ridiculous allegation) — QLD police did a referral to NSW police who visited Mr. Watson’s house and made enquiries to his neighbours asking if they heard anything about Mr. Watson stealing a company (and left a note on his door).

Are you serious?

Firstly if someone steals a company they don’t go to their next door neighbour and randomly say “Hey guess what I got up to? I just stole a company! Ok I’ll see you tomorrow!”

What kind of moron police officer would make that referral — and this shows Thomson’s using their influence to make QLD police go outside their jurisdiction. It once again reminds everyone that QLD is a patronage state and companies like Thomson’s can bully self-represented defendants with police stand-over tactics.

Why the NSW Police would even take the referral from QLD police of a company theft when it’s not even in their jurisdiction is the bigger question.

So Mr. Watson walks into Bondi Junction Commonwealth Bank to check his bank account like a normal human when the person at the counter starts screaming at him and telling him he’s a scammer and to leave or he’ll call the police. This is the problem — when someone from Thomson’s gets involved they can start contacting Commonwealth Bank and using their power and connections to create the illusion that the self-represented defendant is a scammer.

But it’s more than that — Commonwealth Bank leaked Mr. Watson’s personal bank account details to Scott Guthrie — and that’s a privacy violation. It seems like big banks think that their client’s privacy is not a concern — and if in fact this happened the Commonwealth Bank is going to have to issue a statement on their policy of sharing personal information with Thomson’s — and whether the default legal provider to the government can now snoop on everyone like it’s the Soviet Union — is this Russia or what?

So Mr. Watson is sitting being normal when he gets an SMS message from the ATO which I am reproducing here — informing him that the ATO has identified suspicious activity… The timing seems too perfect and coincidental. If Thomson’s is able to access his Commonwealth Bank account details improperly — and that’s a private bank — is it not unreasonable to assume that Scott Guthrie from Thomson’s — in his fixation — has also attempted to pay some dodgy accountant to access his ATO records?

Unfortunately — for whoever is attempting to access Mr. Watson’s ATO account — the ATO keeps a very detailed log of who attempts to access whose ATO account — you need an Agent ID to attempt to get access and the ATO has been notified — they take things like this very seriously and attempting to access someone’s ATO records without permission is a Commonwealth charge.

Sunlight.Quest sincerely hopes that Thomson’s connections with the government don’t allow them to avoid prosecution if the shady accountant that attempted to access Mr. Watson’s details snitches and it links back to Thomson’s. Having contracts with the government does not put you above the law. Also Mr. Watson is planning to subpoena the ATO and find this Agent and bring them to Court and see what Thomson’s is doing and this can then be referred to the Director of Public Prosecutions!

So the bank teller is standing there being normal when Mike Botica’s son walks in — they told him about some issues with his account and the funds being blocked or whatnot in the Commonwealth Bank in regards to his tax-evading father who fails to show his face publicly.

So Mike Botica’s son starts making threats that he’s going to come back with a gun to get his money — it’s not really a surprise that this is how the son of a tax evader acts — thinking he’s above the law when things don’t go his way — and it’s not a surprise in terms of how his dad operates and thinks he can use the system to his advantage at the expense of law-abiding citizens — and the Commonwealth Bank allows him to get away with it, the QLD Police do his bidding and Thomson’s goes and gets accounts illegally.

So she gets a random call from the street (the Mr. Watson hater gang) who begin feeding her ear with this “Mr. Watson is a pedophile” narrative. Not the police, not anyone in any official capacity — no paperwork provided — and Ursula begins to go to the Pioneer Lakes staff and starts to poison their mind that the new Director is a pedophile.

Perhaps it’s time for a lesson in corporate responsibility — running around and spreading rumours in a company and poisoning staff based on allegations from the street on a new incoming Director — especially a Director whose charges have been dropped by the QLD police is a big no-no. So she becomes famous.

But back to Ursula’s baseless accusations as you can see in the emails I’ve included (and I’m so nice to block out her number) — that Mr. Watson lodged the Form 484 fraudulently… let’s go through this email and accusations quickly. Firstly — on this website you can find the Form 484 that was lodged with everyone’s signature — you can look through that and decide for yourself if you think everything was fake (that’s a transfer of company ownership form).

Then you can scroll to the bottom of this website and you’ll find a letter from Push Capital — a loan quote — authorizing a proposed advance of $20,520,000. Now you can believe all of that is fake and fraudulent — and that Mr. Watson is a pedophile plotting to steal the company and I wish you all the best of luck in your lives.

And now Ursula can run and say she’s traumatized by this website and good luck to her and her lawyers. The only thing his wild pursuit has accomplished is roping in the Commonwealth Bank into a civil suit — for disclosing Mr. Watson’s confidential information which is a very serious privacy breach — this is on the Court record and will be pursued in a $28 million claim which Thomson’s and the Commonwealth Bank will be looped into — and once the ATO investigates this situation they could be added to the proceedings as well which is a very serious ethical violation — and as far as Thomson’s position as the de-facto provider of legal services to the government — the government will have to issue a statement on their position of enabling partners of a default legal partner to bully self-represented defendants by attempting to gain access to their criminal convictions in a rape they were a victim to in order to paint them as a criminal — and their silence will speak volumes.

This is how the big boys play — and I trust Thomson’s will issue a statement to Sunlight.Quest about this case so that their answer and position can be distributed to the community for general interest.

Thomsons Allegations

Mike Botica — Thomson’s client is a tax avoider whose payments were paused by AUSTRAC
Mike Botica’s son threatened a Commonwealth staff member to come back with his gun after access to his account was refused
Mike Botica’s accountant at Pioneer Lakes — Ursula McKenzie — spread a malicious rumour that she heard from an anonymous call that Mr. Watson is a pedophile and poisoned contractor staff at Pioneer Lakes (this is based on a charge that was created on allegations from Bodie Chalmers that was dropped at first mention by QLD Police that is mentioned in my episode)
Scott Guthrie (Thomson’s partner) attempted to appeal a suppression order that was placed on Mr. Watson’s assault conviction appeal and had stated in Court that he would seek a costs order for his costs of fighting the DPP who had placed this suppression order to get access to Mr. Watson’s notes that related to a rape that happened in WA that were on the file of this case in regards to the civil proceedings he initiated
Scott Guthrie used his power as a Thomson’s associate to get QLD police to go outside their jurisdiction to do a referral for the charge of “stealing a company” to NSW police who placed an arrest warrant on Mr. Watson’s front door in order to detain him so he couldn’t defend himself in the civil case that Thomson’s was engaged for
Scott Guthrie went to the Commonwealth Bank and used his authority as a Thomsons associate when Mr. Watson was the Director of Pioneer Lakes listed on ASIC and got confidential information which he then used in Court
Scott Guthrie got an accountant to attempt to access Mr. Watson’s ATO account

One Nation — James Ashby Allegations (Party Director)

James Ashby was paid $350,000 by the business partner of a strawberry farmer to set him up by getting a stripper to flirt with him and then getting the footage and sharing it with the strawberry farmer’s wife which led to the wife leaving the strawberry farmer and the divorce putting the farmer in a position to sell his share, after which James Ashby hired Islander boys to intimidate him to sell his share when he was in a weak position by putting him in fear of his life
James Ashby bugged Barnaby Joyce’s office
